Quite spicy but tasty. The apple juice sweetens the deal. You can make it sweeter by adding agave or maple syrup.
|200 g||fresh ginger, peeled, cubed|
|2||lemons, peeled, halved|
|3 large||apples, sweet e.g. Golden Delicious, cored, cut|
- Pour half of the water in a blender and add the small cubes of ginger. Add the lemon halves and apple pieces. Cover and run the blender until a puree forms.
- Add the remainder of the water and mix until you have a thick liquid.
- Place a sieve bag in a suitable bowl and pour the ginger juice into the bag. Gently squeeze all the liquid through the bag into the bowl. Transfer the drink into a clean bottle and enjoy. Refrigerate for up to 5-6 days.
