Carrot-Oat and Tofu Burgers

1 small onion, chopped
1 tsp. olive oil
1/2 lb. firm tofu, drained and mashed well
3/4 cups dry rolled oats
1/4 cups carrots, grated
1 tbsp. tahini sauce
1 tbsp. tamari sauce


  1. Sauté onion in olive oil until translucent. Combine with remaining ingredients. Shape into burgers and place on a lightly oiled or non-stick baking sheet.
  2. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Turn over and bake for another 10 minutes.
