Lemon Herb Marinade
Nicely flavored sauce to flavor vegetables before cooking.

|1 tbsp.||lemon peel, grated|
|2 tbsp.||fresh basil, chopped|
|1 tbsp.||fresh thyme, chopped|
|1 tbsp.||fresh chives, sniped|
|2 tbsp.||capers, chopped|
|2 tbsp.||fresh lemon juice|
|1/2 cups||olive oil|
- In large shallow glass bowl, whisk together all ingredients until well blended.
- Add vegetables or other foods to the marinated, turning to coat.
- If preparing ahead, store in airtight container in refrigerator up to two days. Stir well before using.
