Welcome to the things that I couldn’t find.
As tomorrows engineers start building, they often drift into alleys that are training grounds. One might build a pitch detector, but realize he needs asynchronous sampling of the audio input. One might equip an Arduino figure with servos to make it dance, and realize he needs to learn about filtering frequencies to detect the beat. One might build using programmable logic, and realize he needs to measure propagation delays in the order of sub nanoseconds and require communication with a processor.
I help where I can, and this blog shares some of my notes from helping students learn and build. Even though the notes often cover a broader area, the key goal is to help students adopt, flourish and inspire them to build and learn.
